On a trip to Kenya, Salomé and Ingrid are dizzy at the beauty and majesty of Maasai jewelry. Made of colored beads, these objects are striking in their importance, they illuminate or redesign the bodies of men and women who dare to wear them. The two cousins from the Congo create their brand Moyoni, the word meant in the heart in Swahili. Having surveyed the arts and crafts market of Nairobi, they linked up with six suppliers on site, each craftsman having his specialty. Moyoni necklaces, named after great African female figures, form an adornment, giving character to the silhouettes. The ephemeral Nyeupe collection, (white in Swahili) dresses the neck, chest and even up to the waist all in white. Salomé and Ingrid wish to honor this rich Kenyan culture.
